She is a lot of fun, adventurous. Jinna evolves a bit--perhaps I should say she matures. We're all a bit egocentric when we're young, eh? ;)Terri-Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11468004163467894720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3764159777348916628.post-42255567014994416342013-01-07T11:25:17.894-08:002013-01-07T11:25:17.894-08:00Diana--I try! :) Besos, chica.Diana--I try! :) Besos, chica.Terri-Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11468004163467894720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3764159777348916628.post-68818616126956759642013-01-07T10:28:21.089-08:002013-01-07T10:28:21.089-08:00It really does depend on the story and their role ...It really does depend on the story and their role in it--kind of like such people in real life! If the not-so-nice girl is friends with the protagonist main girl, there has to be *some*thing likable about the not-so-nice one, or else I really doubt the main girl's judgment. But selfish and self-centered and even somewhat mean people can be likable, so yeah, I think it can be done.Asakiyumehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07440002725935231491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3764159777348916628.post-13684493253137608842013-01-07T09:11:54.745-08:002013-01-07T09:11:54.745-08:00This is great advice--paying attention when someth...This is great advice--paying attention when something not working in your writing is consistently pointed out to you. By the time I'm finished with her, she will be. I hope!
Terri-Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11468004163467894720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3764159777348916628.post-86216086977725639862013-01-07T08:27:45.950-08:002013-01-07T08:27:45.950-08:00When they are done well, they make the story more ...When they are done well, they make the story more interesting. They also tell you a lot about the main character, usually, because of the interactions and the way the MC will make excuses for the not-so-nice girl.

When they are done badly, they are a distraction. My two cents, anyhow.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
